The Purpose Of It All!

In Ireland today it can be presumed that everyone continues to live off the back of that over used economic phrase, the 'Celtic Tiger' and maybe that is correct, to a degree. However, from our own personal situations and those of our friends and family we know it is also a time of struggle and compromises for people trying to get on the housing market, trying to raise a family, trying to get through third level education, trying to get that job they always wanted, trying to juggle rising expenses while trying to have some sort of social life at the same time, the list goes on - and some may say, that's life!

At a time where everything seems to be overpriced consumers are constantly looking for a deal, special offer or sale that might mean they are left with a few extra pennies in their pockets. With this in mind we (The Founders) are launching PriceGenie.ie. This is a website that will promote sales, special offers and discounts in stores throughout Ireland.

This site has been developed to help serve 2 purposes:

1. Help consumers get goods and services at a reduced price through sales and special offers
2. Help retailers communicate their sales and special offers with their target audience quickly and effectively

This site has been developed to ensure a 'win win' situation for all stakeholders.

CONSUMERS can register (for free) on the site for the categories and counties that they are interested in getting alerts on deals in. When a new deal is added to that category or county either a text message or email (consumers choice) is sent to notify them.

RETAILERS don't need to have their own website they can use Pricegenie.ie to communicate their latest offer or sale to a target audience. Retailers can now register on Pricegenie.ie for FREE until the 28th February 2008 - this means you have unlimited access to add deals to the website. From the 1st March 2008 it will cost from 99c per day to add a deal.

Remember - Retailers only pay for the days that deals are on the website - once your special offer or sale are finished your deal is removed from the site and we look forward to you adding your next deal!
