Since PriceGenie.ie went live in mid-December we have been busy over the holiday season letting people know about the website that will revolutionise special offer shopping in Ireland forever. We have targeted additional retailers to sign up and register their offers as well as informing Irish shoppers that we are now live for them to register for alerts. We know that building up both groups will take some time but we are very confident with the feedback we have received to date that this is something a lot of people want to be involved in.
In 2008 we hope to update our website with additional features and tools that will make visiting PriceGenie.ie and finding the offers you want a simple and productive experience.

This time we really are going live!
OK, our good intentions went out the window, why? because we are striving for perfection! So, our site didn't go live when we had hoped, but we knew it was better to delay the go live date and make sure the site was up to the standard we have been working towards. Our main ambition with this site is to keep it simple, make sure informative content is published and that the user experience on the site is an enjoyable one. We want users to keep coming back and using PriceGenie.ie and to encourage that the site needs to be good and attain a certain standard.
After working on the site over the past few weeks we are now in a better position to visualise it all going live and achieving what we had set out to do.
OK, so we don't have all the bells and whistles that we initially intended this site to have in phase 1 but that's ok these things can wait until phase 2, which, believe it or not we are already working on! We have the main engine of the site working and that's what counts - Michael O'Leary would be proud of us, no frills! Be prepared though, they will eventually creep in - we're girls who like shopping after all.
As of Friday 14th December a lot of businesses and consumers are going to be notified about PriceGenie.ie (thank-you Maggie Bowen) and we are very excited!
So, we'll give it a few days and we'll be back here updating our experiences and feelings and the initial reactions to our beloved site going live.
