At PriceGenie.ie we are making progress, slowly but surely! We are building our numbers of both businesses and shoppers interacting with our online directory. Everyday we are reading and hearing how the economic stability in Ireland is on a downfall, recession here we come! Up to 250,000 people are expected to be on the dole by Christmas 2008, mortgage interest rates and inflation continue to increase, the future is looking bleak.
More now than ever, a service like PriceGenie.ie is a valuable tool whereby retailers can promote their offers to a direct target audience and shoppers can look around for the best deal before parting with their hard earned money, which is expected to go even further these days.
We are presently working on a campaign to increase the number of retailers and shoppers using PriceGenie.ie, which ultimately will then give shoppers more choice of competitive deals to choose from.
The Founders know that this service is something every household will find useful. We are presently preparing a section on 'going back to school', as we know that this is going to be on a lot of parents minds in the coming weeks as it is an expensive time of year. If parents/students can save a few €'s here and there, then, we want to be able to inform you of where you can find the deals!
Like other small business ventures we don't have the financial resources to hire marketing companies to put together advertising strategies and gimics to promote this site, we work on this site in our spare time outside of our full time jobs. We believe in this site and what it can achieve and will continue to work on it and get the message out there.
If you have any comments, ideas or feedback we are always eager to hear from you, email us at: info@pricegenie.ie
