We haven't posted for a while, but we have been working away, we promise!

As Irish consumers we continue to face challenges when it comes to making a purchase whether it is for a necessity or simply for something to make us feel better during these hard times. At PriceGenie we want to make it easier for everyone to find a good bargain. We want to make sure that consumers have access to information that will help them in getting a better deal. We intially started this website as we were going through stages in our lives where we had to save money and shop around to get better deals and thought that this type of site was missing from the Irish market. Since starting the website we haven't had any substantial money to pump into advertising so it has been a much longer process than we had envisaged to increase the visibility of the site and increase our number of registered users, both consumers and retailers. However, we have not been put off by the time it is taking and continue to monitor the progress of the site and methods we can use to introduce the site to more users.

We have just developed a new facebook business page and hope that this will bring us some additional exposure. Please check it out!

We continue to work at our full time jobs while working on improvements for PriceGenie.ie and hope that those of you who visit the site on a regular basis will continue to give us feedback so we can develop this website to its full potential.
